So, I went on Saturday with my mom, which was day 2 of the con, with the intentions of meeting Norman Reedus and shopping in the vendor rooms. I got to do my shopping, but when I went to meet up with my friend and her room-mate, we were all over trying to figure out whether or not Norman was still doing autographs. We got dicked around for legit six and a half hours saying that he was capped and done for the day, and that doesnt count for how much earlier my friend was there before me. It just struck me as odd considering Norman had stayed Friday night to do autographs and photos for all the fans that had stayed and waited to see him until one in the morning. So, instead of meeting Norman Reedus, we met Michael Rooker, who plays Merle Dixon on The Walking Dead. We went downstairs and got into Rooker's line and one of the staff tried to tell us that Rooker's line had also been capped, but we stayed in the line and moved with it until we got up and paid for our signatures. My friend, her room-mate, and I were the last 3 people that Rooker signed and took autographs with before he had to run and do a scheduled photo op with fans.
He was EXTREMELY nice. He smelled really, really good too.
When you went up to get your photo with him, he was really handsy. Might not of been if you're a man, but he pulls you right up in his arms and gets a firm grip. Even though he was rushing to make it over to the photo ops, he still took his time in getting you up in his hold to take the photo and to sign your stuff nice.( Photos and more below!Collapse )
